Rugby Area Talent Trust (RATT) has been shortlisted for the 2017-2018 Sainsbury’s local Charity of the Year at the company’s superstore on Dunchurch Road in Rugby. The choice is now a public vote between RATT and two other charities.
For a small charity the scheme offers a huge opportunity to raise funds to really make a difference to our work, and support young talented people from across the borough.
David Head, a trustee and one of the founders of RATT, said “This would be a massive boost for us in only our third year and would enable us to make a whole host of additional grants, purchase equipment, and run several events. We would also benefit from a lot of publicity including, we hope, the opportunity to bring some of our young performers to the store, which would be fun.”
RATT is urging supporters to vote at https://www.sainsburyslocalcharity.co.uk. Simply search on the word “Rugby” and then choose the main store in the town (second on the list). From there click “Rugby Area Talent Trust” to cast your vote and support our work.
Shoppers can also vote in-store up until the end of June.
