RATT are very proud to have been invited to perform at a charity concert with our friends at Last Lesson. The event on Saturday 8th July 2017 at Barnacle Village Hall will include music and entertainment from Last Lesson along with several acoustic sets from two of our specially chosen RATT performers.
Following on from the success of the Mayor’s Gala and Spring Fair earlier in the year, the RATT performers will also be joining Last Lesson to sing a selection of well known songs.
Trevor Hawley from Last Lesson said, “We have been really impressed with the talent that RATT helps to develop and are delighted that Oliwia and Lewis will be coming along to sing some songs and entertain the audience. They are very talented young performers and add a whole new style and sound to familiar songs.”
Duncan Arrow (Musical Director), has been working with the youngsters in the run up to the band rehearsals ensuring they know the songs and are ready for the performance.
“Performing directly in front of a loud, 5 piece band is a totally different experience to our normal acoustic performances. It requires a different set of skills and that’s one of the reasons why we’re delighted to have been asked to support Last Lesson at this event”, says Duncan.
RATT is all about nurturing and developing young talent by providing experiences which they may not have otherwise had. And what a great experience this should be!! 🙂
